50th Anniversary Celebration & Alumni Corps!
The Troopers are coming! and all Troopers alumni are invited to join us for a fun weekend of drum corps in the Rocky Mountains! Make plans today to join the Trooper Alumni Association July 11th and 12th for official 50th Anniversary celebrations in Cheyenne, WY and Denver CO.
Friday the 11th of July the Troopers are in Cheyenne, WY for a special "Thank you, Wyoming" performance and alumni are gathering from across this great land to join together for a great time reliving their Trooper experience. We will have a BBQ in the early afternoon and then get ready for a performance with the A Corps! We will be playing bell-tone Battle Hymn (1981) and Ghost Riders in the Sky!
The cost for the event will be $50 per person or $45 each for couples. Since there will be only ONE 50th anniversary season for the Troopers this is a once in a life time chance for to be a part of the festivities. Each participant will enjoy a beautifully catered BBQ meal and receive their embroidered mock tee "uniform" for the evening's performance. The goal of the Alumni Association is to provide social outlets for Trooper Alumni. Gathering together for this 50th Anniversary Celebration will be a great experience and reconnecting with the Long Blue Line will be priceless.

Saturday July 12th the focus turns to Denver, CO for Troop Whoop 2008! This event saw nearly 350 attendees last year. You are once again, invited to join us before the Drum Along the Rockies Show for a social time together! The Blue Knights are holding a special ticket block open for Denver DATR, especially for the Trooper family. The seats are in section 106, which is at the top of the bottom level, between the 30 and 40 on side 1. You can order the tickets by calling the DATR ticket line at (888) 306-DRUM, and ask for a seat in the "Trooper Block." You can only get a seat in the block by calling, not by ordering on-line. Orders must be placed by May 15.

Do you have a Trooper Ring? Do you want
one? You don't have to be a member of the Troopers Alumni
Association to wear a Trooper ring - (but you DO have
to be a confirmed member of the Troopers before you can
order one!)
Merback Awards Co. (of Casper, WY) has confirmed that they
will continue to offer Trooper rings, manufactured by the
Herff-Jones Company. Trooper Rings come in both men’s
and ladies sizes, in a variety of styles and options. Want

Alumni apparel still available!
 We
still have alumni t-shirts, baseball caps
and alumni jackets available for purchase. Proceeds from these
sales support the continuing efforts of the Troopers Alumni Association
to provide tuition assistance scholarships to marching members,
alumni reunions and social events and more.

Keeping In Touch
There are many ways for Trooper Alumni to stay in touch. Complete

Boards and join the discussions with other alumni from all
eras of the corps! Share your ideas, stories and memories! You
can also check out the new All-time roster. It's still being
constructed, but to date, 2100 alumni names have been added.
