Alumni News & Information
It's hard to believe, but summer 2009 is almost upon us, and that means the Troopers are coming to a city or town near you! If you have been reading any of the message boards and Trooper sites as of late, you know that the Corps has continued to build momentum from one of the most successful seasons in recent Trooper history. Read on to see how you can be a part of it. GO TROOP!!!
Check out the 2009 Troop Whoop Schedule
Your Troopers Alumni Association continues to build momentum as well. Thank you for your continued support and involvement! As in recent years, the TAA will be sponsoring Troop Whoop alumni gatherings across the country to support our Corps at show sites. It's our chance to renew the friendships forged through our Troopers experience, and in general have a great time with friends and family. In all but one location alumni are invited to attend events at no charge. There is a suggested donation to help cover costs associated with each venue.
All events are in conjunction with that evening's local DCI show, so you can enjoy the gathering and see some of the incredible performances this summer.
Please be sure to register for all events in the alumni section of the online store at www.troopersdrumcorps.org to assure an accurate head count

Drums Along the Rockies Denver Ticket Block
The Drums Along the Rockies Committee and Blue Knights are graciously holding a block of seats for the July 11 contest in Denver for the Trooper family. The seats are at the top of section 106, and are $35. You can order these tickets by calling the DATR ticket line before June 1 at 303 424 6396 and requesting a seat in the "Troopers Block". Tickets in the block cannot be ordered online, only over the phone. The DATR Committee will hold the block for us as long as they can, but sales are already brisk and they may be gone before June 1, so order early.
Back in the Saddle
Do you still pine for those glorious days spent in years past with the Corps? Well, you can make that happen again! Volunteers are always needed and appreciated by the Corps. We know you are busy, so if you can't spend the whole summer, then how about 2 weeks? Or one week? Or even All Days at the end of May? The Corps really needs some volunteers, especially to assist Mom in the food truck! To learn how you can assist the Corps in this way, or to learn more information about the events listed above, check out the Corps’ website at www.troopersdrumcorps.org, and the Troopers Alumni pages at http://alumni.troopersdrumcorps.org.
Thank you for being part of the Long Blue Line!
Please contact us if you know of any alumni with whom we may not be in touch. We want to share all of this excitement with them, and get them on the Alumni “roll call!'
